Our programs
To develop national expertise and promote employment of senegalese men and women in the oil and gas sector, INPG has set up a series of programmes for the various actors wishing to integrate the value chain of the oil and gas industry. Thus, a wide range of solutions tailored to the specialised and continuous training needs of engineers, technicians and operators in the oil and gas sector are offered to you.
Our training courses, whether short or long term, are structured around five degree and certification programmes:
- Specialized Master's Degree - Oil and Gas Engineering;
- Certification of technicians and operators of offshore facilities;
- Specialized training for government officials, economic actors and civil society;
- Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) training;
- Technical English.
These programmes will be complemented by the award of any relevant degrees in the oil and gas fields.
Specialized Master's Degree - Oil and Gas Engineering
INPG offers engineering degrees in oil and gas professions. This programme consists of training specialists after a 12-month course, followed by 6 months of industrial internship, leading to a diploma.
This diploma enables students to be operational as soon as they complete their training. INPG welcomed its first batch of students in October 2018.

Teaching method ?
The Specialized Master - Oil and Gas Engineering programme is delivered on a full-time basis. Courses are delivered in French with English support by trainers from IFP Training and IFP School, experienced lecturers or by specialists in the related technical fields .
The training is applied and has an industrial orientation. Focused on skills, it aims to provide students with the knowledge and know-how needed in the day-to-day application of functions associated with a position as an Oil & Gas Engineer in the oil or gas industry.
The pedagogy used during this training is active and concrete. It is based in particular on: lectures and presentations supported by quality documentation, case studies with real in small groups and applications linked to real situations encountered in industry and practice phases on specialised professional software. All the courses given have been reviewed in the light of recent educational engineering concepts and are therefore structured for a better assimilation, by the participants, of the subjects taught. Overall, theory and practice are balanced in equal proportions within each module. The content of the courses is based on quality documentation designed, in its preparation and classification, to constitute, during the training sessions, an essential support and, after the training, a reference tool.
