As part of SENELEC gas conversion projects, INPG started this week a three-session training plan about the challenges when converting fuel to natural gas.
The purpose of the first sessions is to familiarize 45 agents with the oil and gas projects in Senegal, the hydrocarbon value chain, as well as the institutional and fiscal framework.
“It is important for our employees to participate in the assessment and negotiation process of gas projects. By collaborating with INPG, we are implementing a tailored training plan and specific modules for capacity building in the field of hydrocarbons. With the introduction of natural gas, we are getting ready for a major change in our main activity and the supply of electricity.» said Khourédia Seck, Head of Competence Development at SENELEC.
