The national technical committee from Plans de Gestion Environnementale et Sociale (PGES) participated this week in their third training session at INPG.

This program is part of the capacity building plan initiated by BP for the Department of the Environment and Classified Establishments (DEEC). It is the third step after the introduction to the techniques of the oil and gas industry, and the implementation of an environmental management system.

“This session on environmental management system audit is particularly important. It helps prepare for compliance checks and monitoring missions for oil and gas operators, including a sustainable management of our hydrocarbon resources.” said training participant, Sanou DAKONO, AET, at DEEC.
