As part of the “Oil and Gas awareness course” training, we had an interactive session this week with executives from the Department of the Environment and Classified Establishments (DEEC) and partner administrations. This training, organized by BP, is part of the capacity building plan intended to the technical committee in charge of social and environmental assessments. The purpose of this training is to familiarize with the fundamentals of the oil and gas industry: drilling and completion, subsea operations, processing, use of a drilling simulator and virtual tours of oil & gas facilities with various technologies. A wide program that specifically focuses on the challenges of actors directly or indirectly involved in the management of our oil & gas resources.
